Sean Wachtel

Sean is a partner of Wachtel Law since 2013.  Sean graduated from the University of Michigan with an honors in Psychology in 2006.  Sean earned his J.D. at Loyola Law School, where he graduated Order of the Coif, Cum Laude. Sean began his legal career by practicing defense medical malpractice for three years at Lewis Brisbois, Brisgaard and Smith, where he learned the field of medicine and doctors’ practices.  This gives Sean an incredible edge in workers’ compensation since he is well versed in the complexities of medicine. Sean does not stop fighting for his clients until every wrinkle is ironed out and will not settle for a mediocre doctor’s report or settlement offer. Sean is very dedicated to his clients and fights for each case with as much passion, expertise and dedication as possible.  Sean’s knowledge of workers’ compensation makes him a dream to work with since he is always happy to explain and discuss the process of your case every step of the way.  Sean was honored as a Super Lawyer in 2015 and again in 2018 as a Rising Star Selectee.    In his free time he loves to spend time with his wife and two kids.  He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, skiing and rooting for the Michigan Wolverines.
